Sophie helped Barnaby pack his clothing into her dads bag. I think Sophies dad needs to get a bigger bag.

Tuesday 18th May 2010
Barnaby set off to RAF Brizenorton to catch his flight to Dubai. We took off at 04:00 in the morning. 27 hours later we arrived at Camp Bastian in Helmond Province in Afghanistan.

Saturday 22nd May 2010.
Having had a busy day in work Barnaby was tired. He missed David Beckham who landed in Sophie's dads plane by one hour.

Barnaby watching the Hercules aircraft. The temperature is 47 degrees C

Tuesday 2nd June 2010
After sleeping all day, Barnaby started night shift from 7pm until 7am. Some of the things that the Hercules aircraft carried that night was water for the soldiers and passengers from the United States of America, Dutch soldiers and French soldiers.

Sunday 6th June 2010
After a busy week on night shift with Callum and Sophie's dad, Barnaby sat in the sun. Sophie's dad made sure they both had sun cream on. Later that day Sophie's dad went to the gym, he tried to get Barnaby to go but he was a tired little teddy bear.

Wednesday 9th June 2010
Barnaby wanted to go on a special flight in a Hercules. He knew he was going to Abu Dhabi to meet a special person but he didn't know who.

Barnaby flew with the Prime minister to Kabul and Camp Bastian. David Cameron was more than happy to have his picture taken with Barnaby bar.
